Let Them Eat the Gluten-Free Cake!

Oh life has been the best lately. And no, that is not sarcasm. Can I just put a shout out to my wonderful husband and all that he does?  We got a new bed! (Thank you Susan and George, we are so well-rested!!) Because we went from a full-size to queen-size, we also had to get a new bed set which was okay because our last one as a Big Lots clearance one that had the stuffing coming out on a corner. Oh it's so nice to have a new bed and stuff... it's amazing too how much more you appreciate things. What's funny is we found out just two days after eating a gluten-free tasty tasty cake for my birthday, we found out I was gluten intolerant haha! There's more about that .: here :.  Of course us foodies are taking it as a new cooking conquest. So far I learned to grind my own rice into rice flour and make bread! Also, Austin has been making dinners such as this salad that became a CafĂ© Rio salad (no tortillas!) SO good. I wish you could have seen the end r

Me N' Stans

Austin and I were down in Rigby, ID after errands, (where we met a nice gnome)  Saw a neon-lighted funeral home: (groovy) and drove around the residential neighborhoods. There were some awesome 1800's early 1900's farm homes such as this one: We also had a date with this guy before bed, and normally we make an awesome vegetable curry: And decided we were starving our brains out, and had to find something before we hit Rexburg, especially if we were gonna exercise. We decided on a diner called Me N' Stans, and couldn't fore go the malts. And for anyone who is judging us at the moment, we have not gone out for two months! So we thoroughly enjoyed our time there! We are definitely going back. Birthday maybe? I'd take my blueberry malt shake over cake any day!  Other than that, we are on our second to last week of Insanity (though we plan to keep doing it), and have been working hard at school and work. I've b
